Aspens with Fall Colors. Willard Page 9215

This is what you would see if you were driving on the back roads in the Rocky Mountains in the fall. This kind of view would be typical at about 10,000 feet elevation where they aspen are healthy and are mixed in with other trees. Ecologist would call us a mixed conifer area. You can see a road going across the scene. The aspens trees are starting to show their fall colors. The painting itself is in good condition. The colors are bright. The frame is intact.

The original paper on the back is gone, but since the painting is done on hardboard, it doesn’t really matter. You can see from the tags that we purchased this in July of the year 2013.
